TWO HOURS IN VATICAN MUSEUM

Share:
Believe me two hours inside the Vatican Museum is not enough. You have to allot at least half a day or better yet a one  whole day to see all of masterpieces....If that's so  then why did I spent only two hours? It was part of my “Vatican by Train: Vatican Full Day Tour” ticket.

I was at the Museum’s entrance at around 8:00 AM. Since I pre booked online ,which is a must for my chosen tour, the security staff allowed me to skipped the line upon showing my  booking confirmation. I  went straight  to the Guided Tour Desk to collect my Museum tickets, maps and audio guide.

I had to navigate the massive Museum on my own though the map was a big help. It was already passed 9:00 AM when I reached the Sistine Chapel. I stayed here for awhile admiring its  ooh so beautiful ceiling by the very famous Michelangelo.  Picture taking is not allowed here but I guessed many tourists can’t resists. I just smiled whenever I saw someone sneakily taking pictures.
Vatican Museum is so hard to describe. I don’t even know where to begin with that’s why I will just post some of the pictures  I took to give you a glimpse of what’s inside in one of the world’s largest and most visited museum.

some of the paintings and murals.

and what interests me most.. the ceilings.

Rome is a big city full of attractions but if you have a limited time ….if you only have one day then this is for you.

Casa per Ferie Madre Nazarena Roma :Where to Stay in Rome

Disclaimer:  This is not a sponsored post. I personally paid for my stay.

I came to know Casa Per Ferie Madre Nazarena through my  friend who is a  nun. She belongs to the Figlie Del Divino Zelo congregation who owns and operates the said establishment.  I was supposed to visit her only but I decided to stay over because there were no more trains available going to Milan. From that day on I always stay in Casa per Ferie whenever I am in Rome.  I longed its tranquilness. I just love staying here. It’s my home away from home.
